As part of my final project for college I made this conjoined parent monster. The world is set in a dystopic apocalyptic Lord of the Flies parody except parents had become the monsters.

The male side is the muscle with a massive limb to grab at children, it would move like a gorilla using its arm to pull itself along. On the other side the female has large eyes and large ears giving her hyper perception to sense where the children are.

What I learnt from doing this:

- I spent a lot of time researching human anatomy and particulaly the differences between male and female anatomy to make the clear contrast

- Improved my profficiency with Autodesk Maya: Vertex welding and merging / Lattice tools / UVing / optimisation / Bridging etc

- I also chose Maya so I was forced to consider proper edge flow for organic shapes
